Additional Information:

Georgia passes ordinance authorizing the Confederate government to occupy, use and possess the forts, navy yards, arsenals, and custom houses within the limits of the State.

Texas Legislature confimrs the action of the Convention in deposing Governor Houston by a vote of 53 to 11. The Legislature also transfers forts, arsenals, etc., to the Confederate Government.
