Additional Information:

All Federal property in the area of Charleston, South Carolina, including the U. S. Arsenal, Post Office, and Custom's House, are seized by South Carolina State troops, with the except of Fort Sumter. The Arsenal contained 70,000+ stand of arms, and other stores.
